Blacksmith Agency is hiring a Sales Development Representative across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel, researching accounts, identifying decision makers and booking meetings with qualified prospects.

Responsibilities include crafting personalized sequences via email, LinkedIn, and phone, maintaining Salesforce/SalesLoft records, and coordinating with Account Executives to schedule discovery calls. Remote work within South Africa is offered.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience with quota ownership.
• About 2 years in SDR/BDR roles; agency or SaaS helpful.
• Strong written communication and personalized outreach.
• Familiar with outbound tools such as Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Proficient in Salesforce and pipeline management.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
