Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring a Sales Development Representative across South Africa to open doors and drive pipeline. You will own the top of the funnel, researching ideal accounts, identifying decision makers, and booking meetings with qualified prospects for our Inside Sales team.

You will craft personalized outreach using email, LinkedIn and phone, and maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft. This is a remote, full-time role across South Africa.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience preferred.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Experience with outbound tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
