Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team in a fully remote capacity, with connections to Bloemfontein. You will manage vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and maintain accuracy in the payables ledger.

In this role you will work independently, leverage accounting software, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies while supporting month-end close processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work remotely and manage tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Schedule and process payments according to terms and policy.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
