Placements24 is seeking an Account Manager to manage and grow a Welkom-based client portfolio. You will be the primary contact, nurturing relationships and delivering solutions aligned with client needs.

The role emphasizes upselling, cross-selling, and proactive problem-solving to sustain recurring revenue in the Free State region. Remote-ready setup and strong collaboration with sales and product teams are valued.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar client-facing role.
• Strong understanding of client relationship management and retention strategies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and account management tools.
• Ability to analyze client data and identify trends and opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously in Welkom.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of existing client accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
• Develop and execute strategies to upsell and cross-sell additional products or services to existing clients.
• Act as the main point of contact, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
