Placements24 seeks an experienced Regional Retail Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of stores in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will drive operational excellence, optimize profitability, and ensure brand standards across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in progressive retail management, including multi-unit/regional roles.
• Proven track record of managing P&Ls and driving financial results in retail.
• Strong leadership, coaching and team-building skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient with POS systems, retail management software, and reporting tools.
• Ability to travel regularly within KwaZulu-Natal and to HQ.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial and operational performance of all stores in the Richards Bay region.
• Develop regional strategies to drive sales, profitability, and market share.
• Ensure brand standards, procedures and customer service excellence.
• Manage and develop store managers with coaching and performance feedback.
• Monitor KPIs and implement action plans to address performance gaps.
• Control costs including labor, inventory and expenses to maximize profitability.
• Oversee inventory management, loss prevention and stock control region-wide.
• Conduct regular store visits and performance audits to identify best practices.
• Collaborate with Marketing, HR and Supply Chain to support regional objectives.
• Recruit, train and retain top talent within store management.
