About the Role

Our client, a prominent national retailer, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Retail Operations Lead to oversee and optimize the performance of stores within the Tembisa region.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide the operational activities of multiple retail stores within the Tembisa region.
• Develop and implement standardized operational procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor store performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure consistent brand representation and uphold visual merchandising standards across all locations.
• Manage regional inventory levels, optimize stock turnover, and minimize shrinkage.
• Provide leadership and support to store managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
• Oversee the implementation of new store initiatives, technology rollouts, and operational changes.
• Conduct regular site visits and audits to assess store operations and compliance.
• Analyze regional sales trends and competitor activities to inform operational strategies.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in multi-site retail operations management or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage operational budgets and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Strong understanding of retail logistics, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with retail performance management systems and analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
