Job summary

Pick n Pay is seeking a Regional Manager on a 6-month fixed-term contract to lead performance across all Clothing stores in the defined region. The role provides strategic direction, commercial leadership, and operational oversight to achieve sales, profitability, and customer-experience targets.

The role leads Area Managers and Store Managers to ensure brand standards, governance, and operational excellence across the region.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Retail, Business, or related field (essential).
8-10 years' experience in retail clothing.
Minimum 4-5 years in a senior multi-store leadership role (Area/Regional level).
Proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-location operations.
Strong commercial and financial management experience.
Computer literate in MS Office, SAP/reporting systems.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively across the region.

Responsibilities

Own and drive regional strategy, performance, and growth across all stores in the region.
Lead and develop Area Managers and Store Managers to deliver objectives.
Ensure alignment with brand standards and governance across stores.
Manage regional budget, costs, and financial performance.
Drive customer experience and visual merchandising at scale.
Monitor KPIs, sales, GP, and stock management regionally.
Collaborate with executive, HR, finance, and supply chain teams.
Lead change initiatives and continuous improvement across the region.
