Placements24 is seeking a Retail Area Manager to oversee multiple store locations across the Bloemfontein region from a remote home office, with regular on-site store visits. You will drive sales performance, operational excellence, and brand standards while mentoring store managers.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years in retail management, including 3+ years in Area/Regional roles, strong leadership and strategic planning skills, and experience with KPI analysis and P&L management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years in retail management, with at least 3 years in Area/Regional management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple locations and drive sales performance.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, financial management, P&L statements and KPI analysis.

Responsabilités

• Oversee performance of multiple retail stores within a designated geographic area.
• Develop and implement regional strategies to drive sales growth, profitability, and market share.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to store managers for operational excellence.
• Monitor KPIs and develop action plans to address gaps.
• Ensure consistent policy, procedure, and visual merchandising implementation.
• Conduct regular store visits and evaluations for improvements and best practices.
• Manage area budgets, control costs, and optimize resources.
• Recruit and develop high-performing store management teams.
• Foster a customer-centric culture and strong service across locations.
• Stay informed on local market trends and customer needs.
