Placements24 is seeking a Regional Operations Controller in Benoni, Gauteng. The role oversees budgeting, forecasting and financial performance across SA facilities, with a focus on cost control and profitability.

The ideal candidate has extensive manufacturing finance experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with SAP/Oracle and ERP/BI tools. The position requires a CA(SA)/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent, a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, and at least 8 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification (CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA) highly preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in financial control/management in manufacturing/industrial sector.
• Strong cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis knowledge.
• Experience with IFRS and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage regional budgets and financial forecasts for SA facilities.
• Analyze performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, and operational reporting.
• Provide insights to management to drive profitability and decision making.
• Implement internal controls and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Prepare financial statements and collaborate with auditors during reviews.
