Job summary

Qualifications

• BCom or National Diploma in Financial Accounting.
• CIMA advantageous.
• Strong Financial Controller / Management Accounting experience within manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of costing, stock, CAPEX and working capital.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and management reporting experience.
• Experience across multiple plants/business units advantageous.
• Previous people-management experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis and commercial support to plant and operational management.
• Prepare monthly financial packs, flash results and management reports.
• Analyse actual performance against budgets and forecasts; identify variances.
• Prepare plant P&L and Balance Sheet forecasts.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting across the plants.
• Oversee stock control, stock takes and variance investigations.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, debtors, creditors and GRNI.
• Manage CAPEX, tooling and fixed asset reporting.
• Analyse manufacturing costs, landed costs and PPV.
• Ensure IFRS, internal controls and audit compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and profitability.
• Lead and develop the finance teams supporting the plants.

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Regional Financial Controllerto take financial responsibility across multiple manufacturing plants.

This is a hands-on, operational finance role for someone who understands manufacturing, enjoys getting behind the numbers and can provide meaningful financial insight to support business and plant performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide financial analysis and commercial support to plant and operational management
• Prepare monthly financial packs, flash results and management reports
• Analyse actual performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key variances
• Prepare plant P&L and Balance Sheet forecasts
• Manage budgeting and forecasting across the plants
• Oversee stock control, stock takes and variance investigations
• Manage cash flow, working capital, debtors, creditors and GRNI
• Manage CAPEX, tooling and fixed asset reporting

Key Requirements:
