Qualifications

• Proven experience as Financial Manager or senior finance professional.
• Strong manufacturing industry experience is essential.
• Solid financial, accounting, reporting and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Experience leading and motivating a finance team.
• Solid knowledge of reconciliations, journals, AP/AR and statutory requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization and problem-solving.
• Able to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Hands-on, professional, commercially minded approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance function and finance team.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, cash flow forecasts and financial reports.
• Oversee reconciliations, journals, debtors, creditors and payment processes.
• Manage VAT, PAYE, Customs and other statutory tax requirements.
• Analyse costs, pricing, margins and actual performance against budget.
• Maintain effective financial controls, accounting procedures and fixed asset records.
• Manage external audits and ensure statutory compliance.
• Provide management with accurate financial information and meaningful business analysis.
• Oversee banking, foreign exchange, supplier and other financial processes.
