Placements24 in Benoni, Gauteng, is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the financial operations for the FMCG division in a hybrid setup. You will oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and internal controls to drive financial performance.

The ideal candidate holds a CA with 5-7 years in FMCG, strong FP&A, IFRS knowledge, and experience with SAP/Oracle. Collaboration with auditors and tax advisors is essential to ensure compliant, accurate financials.

Qualifications

• CA qualification or equivalent professional accounting designation.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial management and accounting, with FMCG exposure.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and South African tax laws.
• Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, and advanced Excel.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all accounting operations: accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, compliance.
• Develop and manage annual budgeting and forecasting with robust financial models for the FMCG division.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure policy compliance.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.
• Ensure IFRS and local tax compliance.
