Job summary

SIGNAL HILL PRODUCTS is seeking a Field Sales Manager to drive new business in the Western Cape region and grow existing trade relationships across on-consumption, corporate retailers, franchise outlets and independent liquor chains.

The role covers St Francis Bay, Jeffrey's Bay, Humansdorp, PE, Despatch and Uitenhage, with focus areas in administration, sales and outlet service. A Post Matric in Sales/Marketing and at least 2 years FMCG experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Sales/Marketing in an FMCG environment.
• Post Matric Qualification in Sales/Marketing.
• Valid unendorsed Code 8 drivers license.
• Basic knowledge of PC and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Determine pre-call planning objectives.
• Compile daily / weekly reports.
• Manage sales and administration.
• Handle customer and consumer complaints and queries.
• Implement and develop promotional activity to drive consistent pull in relation to the channel management process.
• Influence liquor retail pricing within segments.
• Maintain stock levels within segments.
• Using commercial conversations to influence.
• Influence product placement to maintain best cold and ambient space.
• Manage B.T.L placements.
• Develop great business relationships.
• Maintain customer call rate and frequency.
• Conduct regular account reviews.
