Job summary

Absa Group in Gauteng South is seeking a Regional Manager: External Sales to drive growth through regional sales and distribution strategies across multiple channels.

You will focus on client acquisition, market development, and relationship management with external stakeholders, government, employers, and communities to expand Absa’s footprint and deliver commercial outcomes aligned to regional objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and Professional Qualifications: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required).
• Proven track record in business development, sales leadership, and revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of external sales, client acquisition, and distribution channel management.
• Minimum 5 years leadership and people management experience.
• Established network within business, community, employer and institutional sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive regional sales growth, client acquisition and business development strategies with Regional Leadership.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities through partnerships and market engagement.
• Execute the integrated distribution strategy across multiple channels and monitor market trends.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders to unlock growth opportunities.
