Job summary

Absa Bank Limited is seeking an External Sales Consultant to actively pursue sales growth across the Breede River valley region. You will own and deliver on sales targets, collaborate with RB, CIB, and Physical Channels, and build networks to drive lead generation and Absa visibility.

The role emphasizes education on Absa’s value proposition, migration strategies, and proactive engagement with customers for end-to-end solutions within the area.

Qualifications

• Accountable for achievement of sales performance objectives in terms of sales target achievement for Inclusive Banking, Entry Level and Bulk Acquisition Sales.
• Deliver sales and service delivery targets within the assigned areas of responsibility.
• Collaborate on sales opportunity leads across business disciplines.
• Actively mine EVP Schemes to deliver on sales and service targets for the region.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify cross sell opportunities partnering with colleagues to deliver these effectively in the assigned area.
• Proactively engage existing clients on new products and migration strategies in alignment with One Absa business objectives.
• Ensure all policies and regulatory requirements are fully adhered to, at all times.
• Actively build networks and relationships within the assigned area to enlist opportunities for Absa presence at key events and forums.
• Positively contribute to customer experience score levels to attain >92%.
• Customer Relationship Management - Participate in client engagement routines for improved sales and service delivery.
