About the Role

Our client, a dynamic and growing recruitment consultancy, is seeking a proactive and adaptable Recruitment Consultant to join their team. This position, based in Vereeniging, Gauteng , offers a fully remote working arrangement, allowing you the flexibility to work from anywhere in South Africa. You will handle a diverse range of recruitment assignments across various industries, including but not limited to administrative, operational, and junior professional roles. The ideal candidate will possess strong generalist recruitment skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for connecting talent with opportunity. Key Responsibilities

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of roles, ensuring timely and effective placements. Source, screen, and interview candidates from diverse backgrounds and experience levels. Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies using various online platforms and professional networks. Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers, understanding their recruitment needs and providing expert advice. Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the application and interview process. Meet and exceed agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including placement volume and quality. Maintain accurate candidate and client records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Stay informed about general market trends and best practices in recruitment. Collaborate effectively with remote team members to share insights and best practices.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment consultancy or talent acquisition. Proven ability to manage multiple recruitment processes concurrently. Strong understanding of generalist recruitment principles and best practices. Excellent sourcing skills and proficiency in using online job boards, LinkedIn, and other recruitment tools. Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fully remote environment. Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is essential. Adaptability and a willingness to learn about different industries and roles. Based in South Africa and able to work effectively remotely. A relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.
