Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional in South Africa seeks an experienced B2B sales leader to drive public sector revenue. You will lead a high-performing team, build strategic partnerships and oversee tenders and procurement processes.

You will manage forecasts, coach Account Managers and Business Development Managers, and promote AI-enabled solutions while ensuring ethical business practices. This role requires strong negotiation, stakeholder management and a commitment to customer outcomes in

Qualifications

Extensive B2B sales leadership experience.
Experience selling into government or complex public sector environments.
Strong knowledge of procurement, tenders and long sales cycles.
Experience in technology, enterprise software or information services.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute public sector sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
Drive revenue growth through new business, renewals and account expansion.
Lead, coach and develop Account Managers and Business Development Managers.
Build trusted relationships with government departments, regulators and public institutions.
Manage sales pipelines, forecasting and commercial performance.
Oversee tenders, bid strategies and procurement compliance.
Qualify opportunities based on funding, stakeholder alignment and commercial viability.
Partner with internal teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Promote adoption of LexisNexis technologies, including AI-enabled solutions.
Foster accountability, ethical business practices and continuous improvement.
