Job summary

Heart Talent is seeking an experienced Human Resources & Industrial Relations (HR/IR) Officer to manage the full spectrum of HR and IR functions within a dynamic, project-based environment in Midrand. You will lead recruitment, employee relations, payroll administration, employment contract drafting, policy implementation, Employment Equity, Skills Development, COIDA administration, and HR compliance.

The role requires strong IR experience, excellent communication, and the ability to advise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in HR/IR or related field.
• SABPP registration would be advantageous.
• Additional qualifications in Labour Relations or Skills Development are advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in HR and Industrial Relations.
• Experience in project-based environments and unionised settings.

Responsibilities

• Administer day-to-day HR functions.
• Draft employment contracts, addendums and related documentation.
• Process payroll inputs, overtime, leave and deductions.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and exit processes.
• Administer COIDA, payroll, and time/attendance systems.
• Advise management on labour legislation and HR compliance.
• Coordinate Employment Equity reporting and training initiatives.
• Lead workplace investigations and disciplinary processes.
