Placements24 is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor in Gauteng to oversee daily operations at our client’s facility in Tembisa. You will lead a team, drive productivity, and safeguard safety and quality standards while solving operational challenges.

Ideal candidates have a strong manufacturing supervision background, proven leadership, and a track record of optimizing high-volume processes. Hands-on management and a focus on excellence are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of production supervision experience.
• Strong leadership and team motivation abilities.
• Solid understanding of Lean principles and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to meet targets for volume, quality and timeliness.
• Lead, train and motivate operators, fostering accountability and improvement.
• Monitor processes, identify inefficiencies and implement optimization.
• Ensure safety compliance and adherence to policies and standards.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage shift staffing and schedules.
• Maintain production records and report KPIs.
• Collaborate with maintenance/engineering to keep equipment running.
• Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts promptly.
