Placements24 seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our Benoni manufacturing plant. You will lead a shop-floor team, drive efficiency, meet schedules, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership and practical knowledge of manufacturing processes, with the ability to implement continuous improvement. Collaboration with maintenance and logistics to minimize downtime is essential in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and production methodologies.
• Strong leadership, team management, and motivational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Basic understanding of quality control procedures.
• Willingness to work full-time at the Benoni, Gauteng facility.
• Flexibility to work shifts if required by operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to schedules in Benoni.
• Lead a team of production operators, fostering a productive and safe environment.
• Monitor production output, quality control, and performance metrics; take corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on the floor.
