Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a Production Line Manager to lead multiple high-volume production lines in Tembisa, Gauteng. You will optimize workflows, drive continuous improvement, ensure product quality, and maintain safety standards.

You will mentor operators and line leaders, collaborate with maintenance, analyse production data, and implement lean initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce waste in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing production lines in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of production methods, QA, and health and safety.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient in production management systems and MS Office.
• Degree in Engineering, Operations Management or related field preferred.
• Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Able to adapt to changing production needs and priorities.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day management of multiple production lines.
• Develop and implement production plans, schedules and strategies.
