Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor for the night shift at our Gauteng facility in Tembisa. You will lead production staff, ensure safe, high-quality output and meet targets through effective supervision and problem-solving.

You will drive continuous improvement, coach teams, and maintain accurate records while adhering to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with production planning, quality control, and safety.
• Willingness to work night shifts and manage operations independently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate night shift staff to meet targets.
• Monitor processes and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Ensure safety regulations, policies, and quality standards.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate production team members.
• Maintain accurate production records (output, waste, downtime).
• Support continuous improvement initiatives on the floor.
• Allocate resources to optimize efficiency.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain equipment.
