• Through knowledge and understanding of operations procedures and processes.
• Computer Literacy- Microsoft office suite (Excel – Essential)
• Warehouse Inventory Management system experience (E.g. MFGPro/ Nautilus/ Manhattan/ SAP)
• Excellent Communication skills-written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Ensure that daily delivery targets are met
• Ensure correct labeling and packaging of the finished product
• Ensure that the correct procedure for handling deliveries is adhered to
• The necessary quality checks have been done on selected consignments
• The correct documentation is issued
• Ensure Transport Management System is consistently followed
• Reconciliation of system versus actual deliveries daily
• Customer claims and collections completed according to Salesforce procedure
• Manage consumables for daily consumption
• Ensure correct procedure for handling raw materials is adhered to
• Monitor and control master roll and slit stock by accurate cycle counts
• Investigations done on inventory deviations with corrective action
• Plan to re-evaluate products in hold and defect locations continuously
• Ensure scrap product is disposed off when necessary
• Managing drivers and vehicles
• Vehicle licensing, driver licenses and PDP renewals are in order
• Vehicles serviced as per specification and cleaned weekly
• Daily inspections on delivery vehicles and forklifts, report deviations and arrange repairs
• Aligning Performance for Success in daily operations and productivity
• Maximize slitter utilization and optimize manpower
• Continuously seek opportunities to increase productivity with the finishing system
• Coordinate with Dispatch Supervisor to oversee final product quality
• Investigate customer complaints or product concerns and rectify issues effectively
• Active focus on 5S and EHS with zero tolerance to PPE non-compliance
• Report safety near misses and unsafe acts/conditions and drive improvements
