Avery Dennison in South Africa seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead dispatch, stock control, and driving/vehicle management within a busy manufacturing site in Gauteng. You will ensure daily targets are met, quality standards upheld, and processes are followed.

The role demands hands-on leadership of teams, proficiency with warehouse systems, strong communication, and a proactive focus on efficiency and safety in line with ELS and EHS policies.

Competenze

• Experience in manufacturing operations with supervisory responsibilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; report writing skills.
• Warehouse software experience (MFGPro/Nautilus/Manhattan/SAP).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Grade 12 or equivalent.

Mansioni

• Meet daily delivery targets and ensure correct labeling and packaging.
• Maintain stock accuracy with monthly cycle counts.
• Oversee vehicle licensing, renewals, maintenance and safety.
• Drive productivity improvements and apply 5S principles.
• Coordinate with Dispatch Supervisor to ensure product quality.
• Address customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities (ELS) and cost reductions.
