Avery Dennison SA in Johannesburg's Roodepoort is seeking a Production Supervisor to coordinate receiving, handling, production and distribution, ensuring ISO 9001 and OHS Act safety compliance while maintaining tight budget control and low inventory losses.

You will lead Slitting Operators, Material Handlers and Operations staff, and drive continuous improvement across safety, quality and efficiency. A strong background in production supervision and logistics is essential.

Competenze

• Formal qualification in Production Supervision and Management, Logistics or Operations Management.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the Manufacturing or Logistics environment.
• 3–5 year supervisory/managerial experience with relevant Experience in managing a distribution centre.

Mansioni

• Coordinate receiving, handling, production and distribution operations.
• Ensure ISO 9001, OHS Act safety standards and budget adherence; minimize inventory losses.
• Plan weekly production and distribution; ensure SLA adherence and efficient resource use.
• Lead and develop the operations team; monitor performance and implement improvements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, conduct cycle counts and drive 5S and housekeeping standards.
