Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a capable supervisor for their Gauteng operations to manage dispatch, stock control, and productivity targets. The role involves ensuring accurate labeling, timely deliveries, and adherence to safety policies while coordinating with quality and EHS teams.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong leadership, and solid knowledge of warehouse systems (SAP, MFGPro, Nautilus, Manhattan).

Qualifications

• Knowledge of operations procedures and processes.
• Proven leadership skills and supervisory experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and data handling.
• Experience with Warehouse Inventory Management systems (e.g. SAP, MFGPro, Nautilus, Manhattan).

• Physically able and accurate with work.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily dispatch targets are met and correct labeling/packaging.
• Maintain stock control: monitor consumables, raw materials, and stock locations.
• Maximize productivity and optimize manpower deployment.
• Coordinate quality assurance and investigate customer complaints.
• Drive continual improvement through ELS (continuous improvement) initiatives.
• Maintain EHS standards and safety compliance across shifts.
