About the Role

Our client, a leading financial services institution, is seeking a strategic Procurement Manager to lead the procurement of indirect services in Sandton, Gauteng. This senior role is responsible for sourcing and managing a wide range of non-IT services, including professional services (legal, consulting), facilities management, HR services, and marketing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in strategic sourcing, complex contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management within the financial services sector. This is a critical role focused on ensuring value for money, mitigating risks, and driving efficiency in service procurement. You will develop and implement sourcing strategies, lead high-stakes negotiations, and build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers. We are looking for an accomplished procurement professional with a strong understanding of service level agreements and performance metrics. While the role is primarily remote, occasional on-site meetings or client engagements in Sandton may be required.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, with a significant focus on indirect services and professional services sourcing.
• Proven track record in leading complex negotiations and managing high-value service contracts.
• Deep understanding of the financial services industry and its regulatory landscape.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
