Qualifications

• A National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement, or administrative role is advantageous, but strong academic background is acceptable.
• Basic understanding of procurement principles and supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with suppliers and colleagues.
• A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes.
• Proactive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges.
• Residing in or willing to commute to Rustenburg .

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing purchase requisitions and generating purchase orders.
• Source suppliers for materials and services based on established criteria and under supervision.
• Obtain quotes from potential suppliers and compare pricing and terms.
• Track orders to ensure timely delivery and communicate any delays to relevant departments.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier information, and pricing agreements.
