Job summary

Placements24 in Vereeniging is seeking a Process Technician to oversee and optimize production processes in a demanding manufacturing environment. You will monitor control systems, perform calibrations, analyze data, and implement adjustments to maintain quality and output targets.

Collaborating with engineers and operators, you will troubleshoot deviations, participate in process improvements, and uphold safety and environmental standards while maintaining accurate logs and documentation.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Process Technician or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Experience with process monitoring and control systems (SCADA, DCS).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and process diagrams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control production processes using advanced control systems.
• Perform routine checks and calibrations on process equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Analyze process data and troubleshoot deviations, identifying root causes of problems.
