Placements24 in Vereeniging is seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to oversee the production line across shifts and lead a team of operators and technicians. You will drive safe, efficient output, ensure quality standards are met, and coordinate with maintenance and the technical team to minimize downtime.

The role requires proven supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong leadership, good communication, and the ability to analyze production data to implement improvements on the shop

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production setting.
• Demonstrated leadership and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and health and safety regulations.
• Ability to analyze production data and implement effective solutions to operational challenges.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all production activities during your assigned shift.
• Supervise, motivate, and guide a team of production operators and technicians.
• Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities with the technical team.
• Implement lean manufacturing techniques to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to shift personnel.
