Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Production Engineer to enhance and manage production processes at their Rustenburg facility. You will troubleshoot issues, implement quality controls, and drive continuous improvement to meet output targets.

The role emphasizes safety and operational excellence on the manufacturing floor in the North West region. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least four years in production engineering, with hands-on equipment troubleshooting

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing).
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a production engineering role within a manufacturing setting.
Strong understanding of production methodologies, ISO 9001 quality systems, and safety regulations.
Proficiency in using production planning and data analysis software.
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing equipment malfunctions and process deviations promptly.
Implement and refine quality control procedures throughout the production lifecycle.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and perform preventative maintenance on production machinery.
Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost reduction.
Develop and deliver training programs for production staff on new equipment and procedures.
