Placements24 is seeking a skilled Process Control Engineer to optimize automation and control systems for chemical facilities in Soweto. The role focuses on design, commissioning, and maintenance of DCS, PLC, and SIS to enhance process stability, efficiency, and safety.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in process control within chemical/petrochemical sectors and hands-on experience with Honeywell Experion, DeltaV, Siemens, and Rockwell PLCs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering.
5+ years in process control in chemical/petrochemical.
Experience with Honeywell Experion or DeltaV and Siemens/Rockwell PLC.
Knowledge of instrumentation, control theory, and SIL.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain advanced process control strategies.
Configure DCS and PLC systems for chemical processes.
Develop and manage SIS to ensure safety standards.
Troubleshoot control system issues and optimize performance.
Collaborate with process engineers and operations staff; deliver training on control systems.
