About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join their team in Centurion. This position focuses on the design, implementation, and maintenance of sophisticated control systems and instrumentation used in industrial processes. Key Responsibilities

• Design, program, and commission Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
• Develop and maintain instrumentation diagrams, control logic, and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to process control systems, sensors, and actuators.
• Collaborate with process engineers and operators to identify areas for automation and control system improvement.
• Ensure all instrumentation and control systems meet stringent safety, reliability, and performance requirements.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in industrial automation and control technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems engineering.
• Hands-on experience with various PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and HMI software.
• Strong knowledge of control theory, feedback loops, and process optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
