Job summary

CK Talent Partners is seeking a Senior Control System Engineer for a leading FMCG employer in the Western Cape. You will design, develop, and implement PLC and SCADA control systems to meet production needs and lead projects from conception to commissioning.

You will mentor junior engineers, optimise manufacturing processes, troubleshoot complex issues to minimise downtime, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive reliability and performance on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in control system engineering.
• Proven expertise in PLC Programming and SCADA Programming.
• Strong understanding of automation technologies within the FMCG industry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively on-site and lead projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement PLC and SCADA control systems to meet operational requirements.
• Lead control system projects from conception through to commissioning, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise manufacturing processes and improve system reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex control system issues swiftly to minimise downtime.
