Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process control engineering within the chemical or petrochemical industry.
• Proficiency with major DCS platforms (e.g., Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell Experion) and PLC systems.
• Strong understanding of instrumentation, sensors, actuators, and control theory.
• Experience with alarm management, safety instrumented systems (SIS), and cybersecurity for control systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain DCS and PLC systems.
• Develop and implement APC strategies to improve efficiency and quality.
• Tune control loops and troubleshoot instrumentation/control issues.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering to meet process needs.
• Create and maintain documentation for control systems (P&IDs, diagrams, manuals).
• Provide training and technical support to operations on control system functionalities.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems, optimizing process parameters, and troubleshooting control-related issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation, automation, and process dynamics, coupled with a practical understanding of chemical plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
• Develop and implement advanced process control (APC) strategies to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Tune control loops and troubleshoot issues related to instrumentation and control systems.
• Work closely with operations and engineering teams to understand process needs and implement effective control solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for control systems, including P&IDs, logic diagrams, and operating manuals.
• Provide technical support and training to operations personnel on control system functionalities.
