About the Role

Our client, a premier recruitment consultancy, is seeking an accomplished Principal Recruitment Specialist to spearhead their Technology and Engineering division in George, Western Cape . This leadership role is crucial for driving the growth and success of the agency's tech recruitment offerings. You will be responsible for managing complex recruitment projects, building strong relationships with key clients in the tech sector, and mentoring a team of recruitment professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment processes for highly specialized technical and engineering roles, including software development, data science, cybersecurity, and mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to identify passive and active candidates within the tech and engineering landscape.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations.
• Provide expert market insights and strategic advice to clients on talent acquisition challenges and opportunities.
• Manage and mentor a team of junior and mid-level recruitment consultants, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Take ownership of business development initiatives within the tech and engineering sector, identifying new client opportunities.
• Ensure the highest standards of candidate experience and client service are maintained throughout the recruitment journey.
• Track and report on recruitment metrics and KPIs to senior management.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (7+ years) in recruitment, with a significant focus on the technology and engineering sectors.
• Proven ability to recruit for niche and senior technical positions.
• Strong understanding of various technology stacks, engineering disciplines, and industry trends.
• Demonstrated success in client relationship management and business development.
• Experience in leading and mentoring recruitment teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is highly desirable.
