With hands‑on support from management, you will train staff, optimize seating, manage POS transactions, and balance cash at shift end. The role suits someone with at least 2 years of supervisory experience in busy cafés and a passion for first‑class guest experiences.

Qualifikationen

• Matric/Grade 12 required.
• Minimum 2 years front‑of‑house supervisory experience in busy cafes or restaurants.
• Strong knowledge of coffee shop service and fast‑paced casual dining.
• Experience with modern restaurant POS touch‑screen systems.
• Ability to count cash floats and balance daily cash drawers.
• Clear, polite communication and confident floor presence.
• Positive attitude and strong team‑player energy.

Aufgaben

• Supervise daily floor service during morning, lunch, and busy weekend rushes.
• Greet guests warmly and handle seating or service requests promptly.
• Brief and guide waitrons and baristas before busy shifts.
• Oversee table turn times, food delivery speed, and order accuracy.
• Keep the dining floor spotless, beautifully presented, and well‑organised.
• Work closely with the kitchen to keep orders running smoothly.
• Handle POS operations, bill settlements, and daily shift cash reconciliations.
