Switch Recruit (Pty) Ltd located in Cape Town seeks a Risk and Intelligence Manager to drive predictive risk prevention using data, intelligence and operational insights. You will strengthen security, minimise losses and support business performance through proactive measures.

You will lead investigations, manage surveillance, and coordinate intelligence sharing with law enforcement and industry bodies to safeguard assets and people across logistics operations.

Qualifications

• NQF Level 6 qualification (National Diploma) is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse external intelligence relating to emerging security risks, industry trends and impact on operations.
• Monitor regional risk hotspots such as cargo theft, hijackings and warehouse incidents.
• Analyse internal incident reports and data to identify trends and improvements.
• Develop risk heat maps, intelligence reports and predictive insights for proactive decision-making.
• Lead investigations into security incidents using intelligence-led methodologies.
• Oversee surveillance activities and data from CCTV and telematics.
• Translate intelligence findings into practical risk mitigation strategies.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for routes, facilities and initiatives.
• Utilise data analytics tools to support informed decisions.
