Job summary

Takealot Group in Cape Town is seeking a Risk Management/Loss Prevention intern to join our team at DC1 and DC3. This 18-month contract offers hands-on exposure to data interpretation, reporting, and cross-functional projects in a rapid e-commerce environment.

You will collect and interpret operational data, assist in SOP development, and collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and Health & Safety to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• N6/NCV Certificate in Risk Management or Loss Prevention.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyse, interpret, and present operational data.
• Support planning and execution of projects in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
• Prepare clear reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, Facilities, and Health & Safety.
• Develop, review, and maintain SOPs and process documentation.
• Monitor operational performance against KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and support implementation of solutions.
