Placements24 is seeking a precise Receiving Specialist to manage inbound logistics at our Randburg facility. You will verify deliveries against purchase orders, inspect goods, record data, and ensure accurate put-away. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with inventory systems.

You will work closely with suppliers and transporters to resolve receiving issues and maintain a safe, efficient receiving area.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a warehouse receiving role.
• Strong inventory control and documentation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Experience operating pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect shipments against orders and packing slips.
• Identify discrepancies, damages, or quality issues.
• Enter receiving data into inventory system and update stock.
• Organize and stage goods for put-away.
• Coordinate with suppliers and transporters to resolve issues.
• Maintain a safe, clean receiving area per safety protocols.
