Placements24 is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist in Randburg to maintain accurate stock records, optimize levels and minimize discrepancies across the retail network. You will implement control procedures, conduct audits and collaborate with purchasing, sales and warehouse teams to ensure data integrity.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in inventory management, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage inventory levels across all retail locations and warehouses.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts to verify accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Implement and refine inventory control policies and procedures.
• Process stock transfers, adjustments, and returns in the inventory management system.
• Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure efficient stock flow.
