Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a vigilant Receiving Clerk to join a busy warehouse in Klerksdorp. You will be the first point of contact for incoming goods, verify shipments against purchase orders, document in the WMS, and ensure accuracy and safety in the inbound process.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, basic data entry skills, and the stamina to handle lifting and moving packages. Experience in a warehouse or receiving role is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse environment is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meticulously check documentation.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry.
• Familiarity with WMS or inventory tracking systems is a plus.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move packages.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Verify received goods against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
• Document all incoming inventory accurately in the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Stage received goods for put-away or transfer to appropriate warehouse locations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
