Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 required.
• Medical reception or practice administration experience advantageous.
• Strong computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to learn new systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls and manage emails.
• Schedule appointments and manage the diary.
• Handle patient queries and administrative matters.
• Welcome patients and maintain a professional reception area.
• Process patient payments and assist with accounts administration.
• Coordinate with theatres, doctors and other staff.
• Manage theatre lists and related arrangements.
• Maintain professional patient communication and manage expectations.
