Placements24 seeks a detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Coordinator to manage the flow of materials and products for its Paarl operations. You will work with procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and distribution teams to optimize supply chain operations and mitigate risks.

The role emphasizes GDP compliance, inventory management, and coordination across internal departments to ensure timely delivery and product integrity for customers and patients worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or highly regulated industry preferred.
• Strong understanding of GDP and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with ERP and warehouse management systems (WMS).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end pharmaceutical supply chain including procurement, inventory mgmt, warehousing, and distribution.
• Liaise with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams to ensure timely movement of goods.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished products; optimize stock and reduce stockouts.
• Ensure GDP compliance and pharmaceutical storage requirements are met.
• Track shipments, manage customs docs, and resolve logistical delays.
• Collaborate with QA to manage recalls, returns, and product traceability.
