Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a diligent Pharmaceutical Compliance Officer in Sandton to ensure operations, processes, and products meet national and international pharmaceutical regulations and quality standards. You will develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs and advise management.

The role requires collaborating across departments, conducting internal audits, staying current with GMP, GCP, GLP, and leading training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical compliance, quality assurance, or regulatory affairs.
• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Experience in conducting internal audits and risk assessments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's compliance program for pharma regulations.
• Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify gaps and improvements.
• Investigate compliance concerns and recommend corrective actions.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and communicate impact to stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver compliance training across departments.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and assist during inspections and audits.
