Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Analyst to join a pharmaceutical client in Centurion, Gauteng. The role covers qualitative and quantitative testing of raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished products to ensure GMP/GLP compliance and pharmacopeial standards.

You will use HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, and dissolution methods, maintain data in LIMS, and assist with method validation and investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical QC lab.
• Hands-on with HPLC and GC; knowledge of GMP/GLP and regulatory guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Perform qualitative and quantitative analytical tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR and dissolution testing.
• Prepare reagents, standards, and samples for analysis following established procedures.
• Document results accurately in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems (LIMS).
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure performance and compliance.
• Review and interpret data, report deviations to supervisors, and participate in method validation/transfer activities.
