Placements24 in Paarl, Western Cape seeks a meticulous Quality Control Analyst to perform laboratory tests ensuring raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products meet safety and efficacy standards. You will work in a modern, well-equipped facility, operate HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, and Karl Fischer titration, and document findings under GLP and GMP.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology or related science.
• 2–3 years' experience as a Quality Control Analyst in pharma or regulated industry.
• Hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and Karl Fischer titration.
• Strong GMP/GLP understanding and data analysis skills.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine laboratory testing on raw materials, intermediates and finished products using analytical techniques.
• Prepare samples, reagents and media for testing.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment for accuracy.
• Document results per GLP and GMP.
• Investigate OOS results and participate in root cause analysis.
• Prepare CoAs for released batches.
• Participate in internal audits and inspections.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in QC.
