Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Quality Control Analyst to test pharmaceutical products in Soweto. The role focuses on ensuring medicines meet stringent quality and safety standards before reaching patients.

You will work in a well-equipped lab, performing analytical tests and documenting results with precision. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's in chemistry/biochemistry/pharmacy and have at least 2 years of QC experience, with hands-on use of HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and dissolution testing, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of QC analyst experience.
• Hands-on with analytical instruments used in pharmaceutical testing.
• Knowledge of GMP and pharmacopoeial standards (USP/BP).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing of materials and products.
• Operate HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and dissolution equipment.
• Record, analyze, and report results per procedures.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Investigate OOS results and participate in root cause analyses.
• Adhere to GMP and lab safety guidelines.
