Placements24 invites applications for a meticulous Quality Control Analyst to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Paarl, Western Cape. The role focuses on performing routine laboratory tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using HPLC, GC, spectroscopy, and titration, while ensuring data integrity and compliance with GLP and GMP.

You will calibrate and maintain equipment, document observations, and contribute to method validation and investigations of OOS results

Qualifications

• Meticulous and detail-oriented individual with a quality focus.
• Experience with pharmaceutical QC principles and laboratory testing.
• Familiarity with GLP and GMP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine laboratory testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using various analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC, spectroscopy, titration).
• Prepare samples, reagents, and media required for testing.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
• Document all laboratory activities, test results, and observations in accordance with GLP and GMP.
• Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and deviations, and participate in root cause analysis.
• Assist in method validation.
