Placements24 is seeking a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Supervisor in Vereeniging, Gauteng to oversee operations at our client's pharmaceutical facility. The role requires leading production operators, ensuring GMP compliance, and managing daily schedules to maintain quality and throughput.

The ideal candidate has a strong track record in pharmaceutical manufacturing, excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Deep knowledge of GMP, manufacturing processes and QC in pharma.
• Proven leadership and ability to motivate teams.
• Strong production planning, scheduling and resource management.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
• Ability to interpret batch records, SOPs and technical docs.
• Good written and verbal communication for reporting and coordination.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsabilités

• Supervise daily pharmaceutical production teams.
• Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor processes, troubleshoot deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage production schedules and allocate resources to meet targets.
• Train and mentor operators on SOPs and safety.
• Oversee equipment operation, maintenance and calibration.
• Maintain batch records and QC data.
• Collaborate with QA, Engineering and Planning to ensure seamless operations.
